| Med-Tox Northwest
offers comprehensive analytical laboratory services for the
detection and quantification of asbestos. Our laboratory is located
in Auburn, Washington and managed by Carol Evans. Our laboratory
performs analysis of bulk materials and water samples using
polarized-light microscopy (PLM), and of air samples using
phase-contrast microscopy (PCM) techniques. In addition, our lab
capabilities can be extended on site to provide in-the-field fiber
counting utilizing the PCM method. This is particularly advantageous
when immediate reporting of data is essential.
The Med-Tox Northwest's Laboratory offers the following
services:
- Bulk, Air, and Water Analysis for Asbestos, Lead, and other
hazardous materials
- Respirator Fit Testing (On site available)
- Rotometer Calibration
Med-Tox Northwest's laboratory services are available as part of
our complete environmental or industrial hygiene program... or on a
